What is QoreChain?
QoreChain is the first Layer 1 blockchain built with post-quantum cryptography at genesis, AI-native transaction processing, and a triple-VM runtime that executes EVM, CosmWasm, and SVM programs on a single chain. Rather than retrofitting quantum resistance onto an existing protocol, QoreChain was designed from the ground up to be secure against both classical and quantum adversaries while delivering the developer experience and interoperability expected of a modern general-purpose blockchain.
Architecture Overview
QoreChain is a modular blockchain node composed of three primary processes — the chain node, AI sidecar, and block indexer — backed by a Postgres database and monitored via Prometheus and Grafana. Mainnet (qorechain-vladi, EVM chain ID 9801) has been live since 29 June 2026 on release v3.2.1 (consensus rules of v3.2.0), with a parallel testnet (qorechain-diana, EVM chain ID 9800). The chain is built on the Cosmos SDK v0.53. The following diagram shows the high-level component layout.
