Guardians Program
The Guardians program is QoreChain's community leadership programme. People who take on community, developer, validator-operations or research work apply, pass a short trial, and then earn QOR for verified contributions. It is for community members, builders, node operators and writers who want a defined role and a track record around QoreChain.
The programme is run from the QoreChain website, not from the chain. This page summarises what qorechain.io/guardians publishes, as checked on 27 October 2026, and says plainly what this manual cannot confirm. The website is the authority for rules, caps, dates and rewards; if the two differ, follow the website. It is not related to the guardians of QoreX social recovery, which are people you choose to help restore your own wallet.
Innovations
These are the mechanisms the website describes. They are programme rules, not chain features, so this manual does not list a chain query that proves any of them.
- Five ranks with public caps. Initiate (cap 1,000), Guardian (250), Captain (25), Sentinel (7) and Architect (3 in the first 24 months). The website says promotion needs tenure, public performance, senior endorsement and Council ratification, and that current counts are published on the leaderboard.
- Four tracks. Community, Builder, Bridge and Validator Ops, and Research and DevRel. An Initiate picks one track on application; Guardians and above can hold a primary and a secondary track.
- Six regions. Western Europe, Eastern Europe and CIS, North America, LatAm, APAC, and MENA and Africa. Each region is meant to have a Captain and a monthly regional operating budget.
- Points-share rewards. Each rank has a monthly QOR pool drawn from a vested allocation of 1.5% of supply (67.5M QOR). A Guardian's monthly QOR is their share of the points earned in their rank that month. Points come from weekly quests, monthly track duties and quarterly campaigns.
- Soulbound credentials. The website says completed quests are recorded as non-transferable on-chain credentials, and that fraudulent work leads to clawback of QOR and revocation of the credential.
- Identity checks by rank. Initiate is an open application with no identity check. The website says privacy-preserving proof of personhood is required at Guardian rank and standard KYC at Captain rank and above.
- Activity rules. The website says two weeks without activity pauses a Guardian (no new application needed to resume), and a slot opens after two months of silence.
How to use
The path to join, as the website describes it:
- Apply. Fill in the application form linked from qorechain.io/guardians: name, track, region, motivation and references.
- Review. The website states a 48-hour review target.
- Trial. A one-week trial on a real task in your chosen track.
- Activate. If the trial is passed you become an Initiate and start earning quest points.
After activation, the website lists sample monthly duties per track (for example event hosting and content for Community, a testnet contract deployment for Builder, validator uptime for Bridge and Validator Ops, and a long-form technical piece for Research and DevRel). The exact duties and quest list are the website's to define and change.
How to access
- Apply: qorechain.io/guardians (the "Apply Now" button opens the form).
- Standings: qorechain.io/guardians/leaderboard. The website says caps and current counts are published there. It also records the final standings of the April to May 2026 referral campaign, which has ended.
- Community channels: the Discord and Telegram links on the website.
- Cost: none to apply. You need a wallet address to receive QOR; see Wallet Setup.

Limits and known issues
- Not decided or not confirmed here. The website's timeline lists items for later in 2026 (the quest engine on mainnet, Captain KYC integration, the first Architect appointments, a second cohort). This manual cannot confirm that any of them has happened, and gives no date for a second cohort.
- Rewards are not guaranteed. Amounts depend on points share, rank pool size and verified activity. This page quotes no per-person figure and no schedule beyond what the website states.
- On-chain credentials are not documented here. This manual has no contract address, query or explorer view for the credentials. Do not assume you can verify them from a block explorer until the website or this manual says how.
- The page can lag the website. Some wording on the website still speaks of dates around the token generation event and mainnet launch; use the Networks page for current chain facts.
- Keep secrets out of applications. Never send a recovery phrase or private key to anyone, including someone who says they run the programme. An application needs a public address at most.
